1. What is your musical background?Ever since I was little, music has been in my life. I sang in choirs throughout school, studied voice in college, and eventually pursued my degree in Music Education. I have taught general music and choir for several years and love sharing my passion for singing with students of all ages.

2. What excites you most about Summer Camp 2025?This will be my first experience running a summer camp, and I’m so excited to see the growth and confidence campers will gain by the end of the week!

3. What can campers expect to learn from your classes?Campers will discover the musician that lives within them, learn vocal techniques, explore musical styles, and build confidence through performances.

4. Do you have a favorite song, genre, or musical moment that has shaped your career? One musical moment that shaped my career is preparing and performing for All-State Choir in high school. That experience solidified my love for choral music.

5. What’s one fun fact about you?Aside from being a music teacher, I also teach yoga!

6. What do you love most about being part of the Newport Sings community? What I love most about the Newport Sings community is the joy and inclusivity that fills the room during every rehearsal and performance.
