Newport Sings Board Member

Newport Sings is seeking new members to join its Board of Directors. Newport Sings seeks Board members who represent and reflect the community we serve. Newport Sings aims to recruit board members who bring diverse perspectives, backgrounds, skills, and expertise, and who are committed to the organization’s mission. The Newport Sings Board meets once per month on zoom. 

NCYC Conductor

Newport Sings is seeking a dynamic and creative music educator to teach in-person Newport County Youth Chorus (NCYC) classes (grades 1-3 and 4-6). The conductor would lead between one and four classes/rehearsals per week (depending on availability and age-level preference) after school at locations on Aquidneck Island. Aquidneck Singers Section Leader

Newport Sings is seeking an enthusiastic treble (soprano, alto) section leader to support in-person Aquidneck Singers rehearsals. The Aquidneck Singers is a teen and adult women’s chorus that meets on Tuesdays from 5:30 - 7:00 pm at Common Fence Point (Portsmouth).

Quorus Section Leader

Newport Sings is seeking high school, collegiate or recently graduated singers to serve as section leaders in QUORUS. QUORUS is an LGBTQIA+ chorus for teens and adults that meets on Mondays from 6:15 - 7:45 pm at the Martin Luther King Community Center (Newport).

NCYC Program Assistant

Newport Sings is seeking an enthusiastic program assistant to support in-person Newport County Youth Chorus (NCYC) classes (grades 1-3 and 4-6). Program schedule follows the public school calendar. More information at www.newportsings.org.

Accompanist
