Lía Lockhart

Why She Loves Being Part of Aquidneck Singers: "I enjoy singing harmonies with other people, and it feels good to make music with a group."
Lía's passion for music shines brightly every time she steps into rehearsal. Whether blending her voice into lush harmonies or simply sharing in the joy of singing, she finds deep fulfillment in creating music together with others. Her favorite song, "Take This Gift," mirrors her love for expressive, soulful melodies that touch the heart.

Why She Loves Being Part of Aquidneck Singers: "I have always loved singing, especially harmony. It is wonderful to be part of a group again that values music and community."
For Sandra, music and community are beautifully intertwined. Her favorite song, "How Can I Keep From Singing," captures the spirit she brings to every rehearsal and performance. Being part of the Aquidneck Singers allows her to reconnect with the joy of group singing and to share that joy with others who are equally passionate.
Kristen Bond
Favorite Song to Sing: “Orion”
Why She Loves Being Part of Aquidneck Singers: “It has been wonderful to meet new people; everyone has been so welcoming and the music is of such high quality.”
Kristen brings a rich spirit of joy and collaboration to the Aquidneck Singers. Her favorite piece, “Orion,” reflects her love for powerful, uplifting music that moves both the audience and the ensemble. “I love the harmonies and the text and find myself singing snippets of it to myself all the time. The soprano 2 line is just so beautiful and lush.” Being part of the choir allows her to reconnect with the magic of singing as a group—and to be surrounded by people who share that same passion.
