A season in review
NCYC provides great opportunities for children to explore their musical talents and receive an exceptional choral music education. Children make friends with their peers and have an amazing time with fun activities.
NCYC Winter Concert
On February 2nd, the NCYC Winter Concert took place in Newport sponsored by the Newport Performing Arts Center! Our team, led by Elizabeth Woodhouse, Melissa Woolverton, Sara Lombardi and Sabina Sams, was ecstatic to be able to perform at the Emmanuel Church alongside the Salve Regina University Mixtapes Accappella Group.
Below are just some of the memories captured from this event (photos by Jennifer Carter):

A Winter with NCYC
This winter, the NCYC youth choristers played with the Newport Strings Projects students, crafted and performed at Emmanuel Church, and caroled down Spring Street to sing to our elderly neighbors at the St. Clare home.

Spring sessions are on their way!
During this six week program singers will become immersed in different cultures through their music. They will be able to travel the world through music and experience a new way of thinking. The opportunity to listen to new languages will show them the diversity in the world.
Our Spring sessions will blow your children away! Sign up for our next session, "All That Jazz!" today by clicking the Join Us tab in the menu bar.
Special thanks to some of our managers
Sabina Sams and Sara Lombardi are chorus managers for NCYC and have stood out for their dedication and hard work. Their love for music has enabled them to better express themselves and help those around them. They get along so well with our young choristers, who view them not only as mentors but as friends.
